Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

That's true. Sometimes you need to scale it back and look after yourself @Shaz51.

Hi @Shaz51

It would be really great if you could cut back on the physical work for your health Shaz - and right now both of have an injury - you have a pulled muscle - (mowing?) - and Mr Shaz has a frozen shoulder - how did that happen? That's hard to correct and painful.

But how would Mr Shaz cope if you cut back on the heavier work - will he be really anxious about that and all it means. I know he got an MI after a lot of stuff was taken out of his life without his control and this will be a tough decision for him - I understand

You have so much on your shoulders Shaz - something has to change to make things easier - esp with your Mum and her health

Ouch @Shaz51, did they put you through to a fracture clinic? The shoulder is so hard to figure out, hope that you get to see a specialist soon.

after mr shaz does not really want to go now due to work , customers and mum in hospital

but i am feeling soo unsure about leaving mum , I know she wants me to go but after talking to the doctor today , if she does not improve I am worried that she might have to go to the big hospital , so have to see what happens in the next few day
