Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

@@Darcy thanks for the super helpful info as usual I'm the lost foreigner , state is in NSW. it would be very much helpful if I could know numbers for emergency.. so far I think his depression has mellow down..I just hope he can sleep later at night as he slept whole day today.

hello @Maryjune

I hope that things are settling in the household.

As you are new to this country I thought that you might like to ring the sane phone no 1800187263 at the top right hand corner of this page. They will be able to give you valuable information on what services are available. Sometimes, I myself find that when I am overwhelmed it helps to talk to someone, to express my needs and my situation, they then can point you in the right direction.

I see that Darcy has already helped with a website address and you may not need to call.

Everyone on here is friendly and helpful.

I wish you both well.

Had a bit of an up @Shaz51, after a disappointing run of the mill mental health special wedding anniversary celebration, Mr Darcy picked up and all is well with the world again.

Mr Darcy picked up and all is well with the world again.-- that is good @Former-Member

Mr Shaz is doing ok at the moment , cutting back on one of the meds at a time , but what @Former-Member said the other day about Mr shaz diagnoses is sooo true about when things happens , he will fall apart ,
