Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

hello @Former-Member

i dont know where you find the strength.

You inspire me with the loving relationship that you and Mr Darcy have.

i have my thoughts flashing across my mind that I have to cancel quickly. Don't know that this is necessarily helpful given that I have clinical depression. I just have to cope and stay in the "now"

xx

Nothing happening at the love shack @Shaz51 @Determined, went out for tea, Mr Darcy tired, hardly spoke a word. Back home and he is now snoozing in a chair.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hope it's not that infection persisting @Shaz51. Hope Mr Shaz still steady.

I think I might need a check up too, secret women's business, started getting hot flushes.

A friend once told me when you turn 50 it all goes downhill ...

hello @Shaz51 @Former-Member

Yes I wondered where PeppiPatty was the other day. Hope everything is ok with her and her husband.

shaz

clinical depression is the long term one (major is the same) chronic at its worse for several weeks in a row.

does he have anything else? as you would know can be managed, antedepressants work although life traumas play a large role in exacerbating the illness.

Darcy, the love shack, you are a card, love your humour.

hot flushes not pleasant. antidepressant made mine worse. keep an eye on your diet and drink plenty of water. you will survive. you get used to it. i used to carry a large fan with me everywhere. wear a cardigan or jacket with cool top underneath.

Hello @Former-Member

Hope it's not that infection persisting -- it is getting there but I can not take a strong dose so it will take longer to go away

secret women's business, started getting hot flushes.-- yep I have that and i am 52

Hope Mr Shaz still steady.-- yes at the moment until like @Former-Member said that life traumas play a large role in exacerbating the illness.

and inherited depression @Former-Member according to the specialists
