Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

I do hope Mr Shaz follows through with appointments @Shaz51 and that the new med regimen is helpful.

@Shaz51 I just worry about you Shaz51. You have so many people that you have to care for when it is you that needs the caring .... I worry that you are okay.

@Shaz51 A lot of drugs are used for both BP and Sz, I would certainly be asking about Dx - a clear explanation regarding benefit vs risk (increase in side effects) should also have been given.

One of Mr Darcy's differential Dx is a controversial form of Sz (without the paranoia and other overt 'positive' symptoms) so will be interesting to see what current/new pdoc thinks.

hi my beautiful friend @Shaz51 , gentle hugs my friend, you are worn out my friend, im so sorry things are so worrying and stressful at the moment, you can't carry the burden on your own @Shaz51 , have you looked into in home care for your mum? i hope Mr Shaz is helping as much as he can, you both need to look after each other.

there is no shame in resting Shaz, no harm in recharging your batteries so you can be the best support you can be, when i was caring for my father as a full time carer, i was so emotionally, mentally and physically exhausted, but i went on reguardless because that is what you do for the ones you love, but there is only so much you cn give shaz, can family help with your mum, maybe 1 relative looks after her even for a day or two, just so you can get a break?

sitting with you my friend, listening.
