Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hi @Shaz51

It must be disappointing cancelling things Shaz - I have a idea that Mr Shaz enjoyed himself on Christmas Day because you were out until quite late but that must have exhausted him - exhausted you too

I have read most of your thread - it has to get to a stage when you have to roll with the punches I guess - poor old Mr Shaz - so many things to worry about - it must be really tiring for all of you

Sorry your cousin had to judge you - actually she was likely to have been judging herself and (sigh) - felt the need to justify herself in some way - you know the bitznpieces of your life better than she does - aw - you didn't need that

I have an inner picture of your cousins and other family members all running back to their homes like ants - because the rain gave them an excuse - of course having a crowd in the house because of the rain would be tensifying - not much fun - people get edgy and you say you run for the hills - I think I would be joining you in them thar hill with too much family at once

Happy New Year Shaz - Mr Shaz and Poor Little Kidney - I hope it is as good as it can be for all of you - and your Mum - the brave soul

From your second Mum - Dec✨🎉🎆🎇🎊🎈

finally got in and she was in bed a sleep --- ahhhhhhhhh

woke her up and then made her a cuppa before going home , she told me she had a fall and was feelinf sore

this morning she rang , took her up to the hospital, keeping her in , just got home now

@Shaz51 I ring my mum every morning at 8am if she doesn't answer I begin to worry. If she doesn't ring back within 30 mins I go into panic mode :(.

At least her being in hospital means that you know she is having good care and can take a bit of a breather for a little while at least.

@Shaz51 Hey Shaz51 I'm good, I can't complained. I have my ex coming up again on Monday to see son2 and daughter. He is trying to spend as much time as possible to give me a break before he goes away for a month to see son1 in Germany. He is a good man .... just glad I am not married to him hehe!

Hi @Shaz51
