Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Your Mum really is a battler @Shaz51 - and not that old either - about my age

From what I gather she has had a tough life - and she is a wonderfully caring woman - she certainly has produced a wonderfully caring daughter who does her best to do whatever she can for others even when battling - well it's you Shaz - and you're a battler yourself

I hope she has a few good days at home - I'm thinking of both of you

Hi @Shaz51

Your Mum is a bit older than I am - amazingly people only age on year at a time but later in life one of those years ages us more than when we were younger -

That's just not fair - I am having that happening to me as well

I hope your Mum has some good days right now and can feel better - is she still having pain

Thank you it is almost reassuring to know I’m not alone in the careers journey. I have a high resilience generally but the rollercoaster ride a carer goes through takes a lot of courage. Hard not to doubt your relationship or marriage given the hurt. Trying to understand how to best build strength to help us through this. @Shaz51

Good luck with your journey.
