Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Nice that you enjoyed getting out and about @Adge. So she wasn't the one for you. At least you had a lovely time. I hope you'll give it another go. Springtime is a wonderful season to enjoy the great outdoors. Go for a walk by yourself but also keep trying to forge new connections.

Perhaps the best thing is not to overshare until you get to know someone better. Take it slowly and easily.

Good for you for taking these chances.

Thanks @soul I appreciate your thoughts.

Yes, good to get out & go places that I wouldn't have gone otherwise.

Dating, & meeting new people gets me to do that.

Yes, I have several major physical illnesses (not visually apparent) - letting that slip out in conversation (1st time meeting), is maybe not a good idea.

talking to the dietician today too , I have lost 2kgs according to her scales

she like my food changes, she added a few more hints and wants me to do more exercise

I told her about mum being in hospital

I am not a drinker but having a glass of wine lately , she says that would be from stress

I have not said anything about mr shaz

Keeping tabs on everything is almost a full time job from the sound of things @Shaz51.

Hoping that the reading on the scales made you 😀.
