Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

There's so much going on @Shaz51 Not easy to juggle so much at once. Drop back in and let us know how you're going when you feel up to it. Look after yourself 🌻

Hello @Former-Member, @Former-Member, @outlander

just being talking on sane chatline

The thing is Mr shaz wants to stop work , our business to go on centrelink and our regular jobs

he can not cope with centrelink and changes his mind all the time , I am feeling overwhelmed , and i want to see him / us and my mum happy

mr shaz hates making decisions , and I don`t know weather to go ahead and apply and do all the paperwork and everythng with centrelink

it is soo confusing what to do

@Shaz51 can you put it to the side for tonight and then reassess in the morning?

Oh @Shaz51 I do hope you get some clarity as what to do.

Don't you wish it was as simple as getting our loved ones to sign a deed of undertaking that they will cooperate with the process?

Chatline = 😀

That's really difficult @Shaz51 It's hard to make those big decisions.

@Former-Member and @outlander @Former-Member @Former-Member

You're getting good support @Shaz51 my special friend.....

how about listening to everyone ..... but my suggestion is to be patient and sleep and when ready: write

positive steps on one line and

negative steps on another ??

@Shaz51 Something Mr Shaz may not realise is that there is some flexibility with the DSP - it is not an all or nothing situation - a recipient is able to work part time up to 30 hours per week. Not sure how it ties in with the hours you are currently working.
