Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

@xtine I am not sure how much I have been effected. Taking stock of both "what is positive and good" and how I actually am. I am dreadfully riven with physical anxiety symptoms even if I seem confident on forum. I guess I am reflecting when I see good interactions how all those old put downs accumulated in received stress and trauma. I am alright, but I just dont clench my teeth at night. I am constantly clenching my whole body. Think I have to discuss this with doctor and therapist. Though they may already be aware by just looking at me.

Cheers @Former-Member @Shaz51 @outlander

I can very much relate to what you said @Appleblossom

My entire body is tense, most of the time.

Which partly explains why I get such muscle aches & backpain...

People often used to say (when much younger) that I looked relaxed & laid-back.

That was never really the case, even though it looked like that to them.

Thanks @Former-Member @Adge There is a relaxed laid back layer to enable social niceties but beneath that tensions and anxiety.
