Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Hi @Appleblossom @Shaz51 @PeppiPatty @Former-Member I hope you’re all plugging along this Monday. @Appleblossom - is good you don’t absorb too much of other people’s minimisations of what you’re coping with. It’s funny the things people say when they should probably not say anything at all, or go to empathy school!! ❤️

Yes @xtine, @Faith-and-Hope, @outlander, @Determined, @Former-Member, , the doctor`s appt was good but I also had a not soo good surprise ,I have another infection so I am now on Ab`s now which is good

But I have a kidney checkup every 6 months and I found out that none of my doctors appts or blood tests or bladder / kidney infections which i have had in the last 6 months were NOT sent onto my kidney specialist

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Why does that not surprise me @Shaz51?

I always remind GP to ensure cc bloods go to Mr D's pdoc and follow up with a reminder to his case manager to ensure results are in situ for next appt as path lab have missed sending them to her.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

yes @Former-Member, I will have to do that always now

wonder why the kidney specialist thinks i am doing ok

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Perhaps ask that GP write a quick update to specailist and attach last 12 months path results @Shaz51 perhaps with cc to he other specialists you are under.

It is amazing how everything in the body is interlinked - some info may or may not be relevant - but important that all treating docs are aware.
