Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

It’s hardest at these times I think @Determined ..... you so want to just jump in your car and drive around to see them ..... it’s like someone not answering their phone for days.

Thinking of you @Faith-and-Hope and our friend who is missing. It is worrying when you don't know the reason and your mind conjures up all sorts of possibilities.

I guess all we can do is to remain positive and hope that things are okay.

Hi @Determined @Shaz51 @Former-Member @Owlunar and any others who may be around.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

There are three or four I am concerned about @soul ..... add another two who have recently left the forums ..... it may be a difficult time of year for them particularly. December can be like that .....

Holding them all in the light, and hoping to hear from a special butterfly very soon.

My mr. has settled across the day ✔️

S2 didn’t go to uni today, and I think that was part of it ..... but I gave mr. a few things to think about from S2’s perspective on my way out the door, and it seems to hav made a difference. Mr. repeated a convo he had today with his son, and it reflected this, very much ✔️

Left over dinner from last night meant I didn’t have to cook tonight ✔️

Glad that you have had some reprieve @Faith-and-Hope. I was about to cook spag bol but lost the incentive. I divided up the mince for the pooch and have resorted to a frozen meal.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

To walk alongside someone with LE and help in some small way to shoulder their burden when they feel they cannot bear it on their own is a gift that you have given @Faith-and-Hope @Determined. The pain of not knowing is palpable ... I do not want to take away from this in saying that I hope you find some comfort in knowing that you have shown love and care to someone in their time of need.
