Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

@Shaz51

Just passing by to see how you are..pleased to read that you are now being referred to an urologist.

it is very hard when our mum,s do not live nearby and need assistance..another addition to the list..our own ill health ...other family members with ill health..then there is the self-care..

we have to remind ourselves that we do not have super powers..

can empathise..is very hard putting into practice

take care

Good evening all

Trust everyone has had a good day.

It is wet and miserable here, amplifies the feeling of being tired.

2 more assesments down today. (Was a group effort so not too taxing).

@Shaz51

I am now experiencing random pain..

still not getting answers from neurosurgeon..

so am practising counting to ten over and over..

one positive that I keep on reminding myself is that post operation is less than a week away now

my mum did all of the word games..played scrabble...all of that stopped once she moved into the nursing home...she watches all live sport and enjoys that..

take care

You're all lucky to have your Mums around. @Shaz51 @Former-Member @Determined @Former-Member @Catcakes

Missing mine terribly. Her photo is on my dressing table so I see her when I wake up and before I go to sleep at night.

Yes @soul

We are..

my dad has been gone nearly 19 years ...he is the one person I have really needed these last few weeks...

he would have found the words I needed to hear and quietly told me...
