Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

@Shaz51 - you know what it is like (as do the rest of the up and down crew).

Hoping being around people tonight will perk him up.

Have recently finished reading a very funny book - might need to revisit a couple of chapters I found particularly amusing ...

Wishing you better health soon @Shaz51.

@Former-Member - I love trivia nights. Might request that my kids take me to one for my birthday this year. Always good to have different age groups in the team.

@Determined - how is the study going?

@outlander - hope the baby sitting isn’t too taxing for you.

I rather suspect we won't be on the winning team @soul esp if there are movie or pop song questions

Thanks @Former-Member. Hopefully Mr D's day picks up.
Been a bit of a rough week. Reversed into Mr H's car last weekend. His car fine, my tailgate stuffed big time. Then the next evening hit a deer and damaged the front end of the car. Not what I needed at all. And just a generally crappy week. Think I'm just weary of it at the moment.

Oh @Hillsy bummer about the car - not too often one hears of someone having a close encounter with a deer. Is there one small thing you can do to help lift your spirits?

Not much progress here with study today @soul

Will have to try and catch up tomorrow. Probably needed a rest day anyway, has been a big week.
Have done some reading but not sinking in. Mondays test is multi-guess so should be enough prompts for me to do reasonably ok. was hoping for some more progress on a group presentation but no joy there either 😞
