Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Thank you! I will explore these two. I am glad to find this forum because it is hard that I don't have anyone to talk to.

He doesn't visit his parents often and he thinks that they don't understand him. I know i took some of the responsibilities of taking care of him from his family and his designated carer. But sometimes, I just need a break from all the stress -times I can go out and not think about what is happening to him while i am away or what his mood is when I get back.

Can you discuss it with his family and the carer @Bel ? They might understand how hard it is for you and help you to manage.

My brother went missing for a year when he was 17 @Former-Member ..... and when he was found, police came to our door .... I imagine how terrifying that must have been for my mother ....

Its not the same as what you experienced .... and neither is the same as for mohill .....

I can appreciate that it is very emoti9nal for you .....

Sort of @Former-Member ....he was in juvie cos he had stolen something ..... unintentionally .....

He and some other guys had “borrowed”something from the uni cos they were all “super-brights” and wanted to experiment with this very expensive piece of equipment ..... which they did .... but it was found to be missing and they didn’t know how to return it, so they dumped it somewhere where it was either badly damaged or destroyed .....

So .... yeah .... wasn’t good but he was physically okay .... but probably badly bullied in custody as well. He has some physical disfigurement from a childhood accident and has often been the target of bullies.

He’s a “gentle giant”. I imagine Mr. Darcy is similar.
