Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Things are more settled here tonight so looking forward to a better night sleep.
Currently trying to catch up on some preparation for tomorrows classes at UNI.
Not a good look when I am already behind before the first class 😞

MI is the pits at times, you will find a lot about self care here. Doing things for ourselves so we can cope better. As this thread title suggests we all go through ups and downs. We do try and look for those silver linings though. There are social threads (dogs, cats, art) and a virtual coffee shop.

We are happy to answer any questions (within guidelines) so please don't hesitate to ask. It is comforting to know we are not alone in the feelings we are having. There are times when a virtual tissue can he

I know I'm crap at self care and definitely something I need to work hard on. So am grateful to see this forum. Generally was doing ok ticking along but really struggling these last few weeks, which doesn't help hubby. Or the kids. Need to work out which way is up.

Thanks for that @Former-Member, I needed the extra prayers last night so much appreciated.
More detail on other thread but very pleased re response from school to S2s problem. Not so pleased with response form pdoc today but have to admitt Im not sure what I was expecting from him, prob not a lot he can actually do right now 😞

How are things for you and Mr D? Trust everything has settled in after your time away.

Ummm .... not sure how to answer you @Determined .....

My mr. had a run-in with one of the kids this morning .... no apologies .... no conceding .... so things are civil enough, but a stalemate nonetheless .... and he has headed off to bed exhausted but not restful.

Things are not going smoothly, but they were never going to .... and he wants 100% attendance from both kids from the get-go. They are not in shape to be able to do that no matter how much he tries to demand it of them, and for me to say otherwise lands me squarely in the undermining-my-husband basket ..... so the kids have to speak up for themselves ..... against a bullwheel .....
