Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

yesterday went well @Former-Member

I did not win any prizes but it was good to go out and enjoy some company

Mr shaz stayed home for the afternoon , and then last night was night

They were surprised that 35 people came to their house warming party , had a few writting and question games

I helped with the serving and washing and drying the dishes , the host was soo thankful but she kept trying to stop us ladies from helping her , soo it was nice to catch up with the ladies

Mr shaz was also interacting which was nice to see until 8pm and then he felt soo tired and wanted to go home , so we came home

so we have been relaxing today , mr shaz mind is overthinking about everything today , so hopping too bring up the concerns with the doctor tomorrow but fingers crassed as he does not like to ask

How are you and mr @Former-Member today xx

@Shaz51
Good to get out and enjoy yourself. I have a list of things for Mr D's next GP appt (I will need to go in with him) wondering if he needs a double appt or whether to go twice to get some of the matters attended to.

Perhaps if Mr Shaz writes things down he won't forget. Suggesting Mr Shaz to fast prior to appt might be wise if bloods need doing and if it is possible that GP inclined to do them on the spot.

The tomorrow appt is in the afternoon, so there won`t be anyone around to do blood test @Former-Member so will have to make another appt

trouble is when i start to say something to the doctor mr shaz says no he is ok -- arggg

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Bit of a bummer about pm appt @Shaz51, the twin is the same at times. Mr D is so not medically aware if I did not speak up things would not get done.
