Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

This Christmas I would like to thank you so much to each of you, for your posts where you have shared your feelings, both highs and lows. Having others that understand is such a blessing .... feeling a group hug coming on.

Yes, thankfully the swelling has gone down substantially.
How are things with you?

Things have settled here a little @Former-Member, got a spontaneous hug and love you while shopping yesterday, darling retreated within again soon after but gives me much hope that she is still in there somewhere.

Prior to that have had a bit of a down week in that someone I know died quite suddenly at the start of the week (natural causes), someone from our church who attended a mens bible study together. He was also baptised the same time as our s2. We were not super close but close enough for it to rattle me. He was only 33 years old and has a 4yo daughter . Just cant stop thinking about how you tell a little girl that.... they were very close and I rarely saw him without her .

Brought back memories from earlier in the year when I feared having the same discussion.
