Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @outlander

Gp management plan is Xrays of the affected areas, medication to help

Kidney specialist management plan is to keep a diary and keep up regular blood tests , to cut back on sugar and change my diet a bit

How are you xx

You know my special friend @Shaz51

You have one thing to address ...your oestrioatheritis.

Don't know if it's good news or bad on the kidney ?

I have a good friend who only has 8% of her kidney working...... I don't know much about the kidney and must look it up.........

It's great that your sharing right here, right now....

Hi @Shaz51 and thanks for the update. Good news that your kidney function has remained stable. I think dialysis or transplant is only commenced once function drops to 10% or less? So you are doing okay for the time being. No doubt the aim is to remain there.

Sorry to hear that you have osteoarthritis. Given that a lot of the usual anti inflamatory medications are not compatible with Chronic Kidney Disease, it is difficult to treat. Has the GP indicated what they will do about it?

Hi also to @PeppiPatty @Former-Member @outlander @dands26

oh @Shaz51 - kind of good news in that kidney has stayed stable.. but not so good in that there's not much they can do right now to help things improve...
sending hugs!
