Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Hanging in there @Shaz51

I would like to do an extra large grocery shop. Have been shopping PRN style of late.

Mr D not so good, was howling for a short time tonight.

@Former-Member

Sorry to hear that mr darcy in pain again..so hard on you both..

do you think that it is a symptom of medication change..adjustment again?

he has had quite a few changes in not that long a time medication wise...his body would still be adjusting..reacting.

What do you think? You know his regime and reactions so well...

are you able to still have some Mrs. Darcy time out with friends?

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

It is possibly being caused by an increment down in the pain meds @Former-Member @Determined last time it took 3 days to settle. He still has a couple of weeks left tapering off them so will see how it goes.

@Former-Member @Determined

a very unpleasant experience changing medications...altering dosages even

everyone affected differently of course

some medications have stronger side effects

adjustment for someone healing from an operation as well increases the anguish

thinking of you both

@Determined

I am thinking perhaps you are still recovering from the great effort made in doing "the assessment paper"....well done for finishing under such extreme conditions ...circumstances...

I hope that your darling received some pleasure from the long drive she made with your son for the appointment...I am probably on the wrong thread....

I cannot get my head around all of these threads at the moment..

take care

@Former-Member@Determined@Shaz51@Former-Member@Faith-and-Hope @outlander

I am currently having significant med changes due to caree behviour and induced stress, but GOD love them anyway.

I have to phone my gf's who has start of alzheimers, daughter to arrange something for driving my friend that had been an original plan. SO there are changes in my driving and putblic transport uses and that effects other, not just my family or friends.

We are all interconnected.

Thats enough from me for today.
