Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Good evening all

@Shaz51 @Former-Member @soul @Faith-and-Hope @outlander

Finally I can (sort of) connect, been having issues with stupidly slow connection. Haven't had many opportunities to properly catch up with everyone and when I have I haven't been able to connect... very frustrating, trying to catch up now still a bit patchy though .

Sounds like a lot to process @Shaz51. Thinking of you as you wait for some answers.

@Former-Member trusting your weekend goes ok for you. Was it today you were going to see the ortho doc? Thinking of you at the moment.

@Faith-and-Hope... hope some calmer waters ahead for you with all the changes under way..

@soul trust you are feeling a little better today. You definatly make a big difference along with all of our forum friends,

@outlander ... trust your weekend goes ok for you.

Everyone I have missed...

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Thanks @Determined.

I am in a better frame of mind today. If I am sent to a pdoc for assessment, it will be on my own, not with other family members in tow, and as with the psychologist I go to see periodically, I can cut all the cloaks and daggers stuff of trying to talk-but-not-talk or add context after changes have happened .... for instance WH has stopped his raging .... if we are supposed to be now pretending that no raging has happened in the interests of moving forward ......
