Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Mr Shaz might have been worried about you going under a general anaesthetic @Shaz51.

Oh bless Mr Shaz, @Shaz51
Hope you've had some good rest @Former-Member How's Mr Darcy been this weekend?
We had Mini Cath's 4th birthday party on Saturday. Another Frozen extravaganza. I was getting a bit stressed as Mr Cath had insisted on helping with preparations but has been very up and down and unreliable of late. Anyway, he did well and even managed to make the birthday cake. Was so relieved. I just wanted to give Mini Cath a really special day. It's been a tough year for her too. You just can't be sure how things affect the little people.
Anyway, here we go with another week!

Back on home turf now *sigh of relief*.will just need to pick up dogs from kennels. Family & friends were kind, Mr Darcy used up his energy so he could be 'normal' with people, but usually crashed when we were on our own. We both found the traffic difficult and missed our own bed, between this and a fair bit of driving Mr Darcy limping noticeably. There were lots of little things that I noticed, slowness ++, forgotten road directions, some agitation, wearing clothes that needed cleaning (I did ask for things that needed washing), he said he enjoyed things but it was hard to tell as he was very quiet and tired easily.
Over all trip went better than expected and I am grateful.

Glad you are back home safely and that parts of the trip were enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing some pics when you get around to it @Former-Member.
