Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

@Determined

Perhaps your laddie might appreciate the savings you make in council dog reg fees to be invested in some cosmetic implants 🐶

Dog registration is a bit of a rort I reckon @Determined. Got mine in the mail the other day. $47 for what? We don't use any services. She doesn't like dog parks, finds them too intimidating. She is always on her leash when out and is securely homed with a locked gate.

My poor pooch isn't that spritely anymore @Former-Member. I have an extenda lead and she's often the full five metres behind me. Out walking with her the other day and a woman pointed out that she was back in another postcode.

Love your response

so refreshing to have a laugh on here...dry humour

every second person in uk has a dog. They have right of way. In certain afternoon tea places they are rewarded a biscuit and hello before we are even acknowledged let alone our order taken laugh

I love dogs but seriously some people need to set boundaries. They could learn a lot from here.

really needed a laugh

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Only $47 @soul
Ours cost $90 each.
Mum wants a 3rd dog and it will cost $200 per year on top of the $90 reg fee. And that is in a rural area.

If we get them fixed it is a lot cheaper. Need to look into the saving. May offset the cost of having them done in the long run.

@Determined @soul both our hounds are desexed and with concession I think it came to $35 in total.

I think cat registration was touted in Qld at one stage but it wasn't popular so didn't happen. I think other states may require you to register cats. Really don't know the benefits are for me. I took it up with the council when I went to renew once and was told it was for dog parks, education, dog management (none of which I utilise) My dog is microchipped so would just have to be taken to the vet if lost as she is on a national register. It's not like car registration which I happily pay.

Next we'll have to register birds.
