Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Hi @PeppiPatty

It was good to hear from you and that you are still writing your book - well done

Yes - that's me. I am a self-achiever - this is something to be proud of - and my family was not at all helpful - exp through those dark years.

I did melt down when my mother died - I could not eat and I cried right through here funeral - not good for someone who is usually pretty stoical - and I had a meltdown afterwards fainted and was taken off to hospital where they insisted on keeping me overnight

And I do hate hospitals

I hope you are okay - life can be up-n-downsy - take life as it comes and try and roll with the punches - easier said than done

Hi @Shaz51
Thanks for asking. TBH today I am angry and frustrated and just plain p*ssed off at Mr C and the world!
Tomorrow I hope to feel calm and serene x
