@Sunnyside226 oof, sounds like your brother is unable to respect your boundaries! Good on you for saying no, not always easy to do but we gotta do it sometimes hey! And considering how stressful it can be to have to look after little ones, it sounds like you've made the right choice. He can be pissed off all he likes, but it's not your responsibility to always be just, available and ready to jump into babysitting whenever he wants!

And with your sister, sounds like a pretty heavy situation. I hope you're okay.

Do you have anything on tonight? Could you maybe go for a walk or something else, whatever you feel might help you expel some of this restless, shaky energy?

@Sunnyside226 Air con helps! I am sorry things are so rough, and that you're not getting much compassion or understanding from your siblings.

It's okay to fall apart sometimes! If you need to hide under the bed for a while, I'm all for it. I know whenever I'm having a meltdown, it helps me to remind myself that it won't last forever, and that I just need to keep taking slow, deep breaths until my system calms itself down.

@Sunnyside226 sometimes the brain does very strange things when under a lot of stress. It can be super scary if it's something you've never heard/experienced before.

Yes good idea! Picture the castle, how big and beautiful and safe it is. No one can breach the walls! You can sit in the tallest tower, or hide out in the lowest cellar. It's nice and cool, and furnished with everything you love most. You're safe in there 💜🏰

I think it's definitely possible that this is all just because of being very stressed. It might be very scary and painful to be hearing your dad laughing, but perhaps remind yourself that it's not a totally abnormal thing for our brains to do. Deep breaths hun.

I can't remember either haha. But we can always add things! Like a ballroom - I love dancing, and a big open area with lots of candles and some tiles on the floor so that my feet go clickety clack when I'm dancing! What else should we have in there?
