And don't get me started on the MyGov site!!

@Taali just got paid my pension today. So I have more money thankfully. I've been using those special preserving bags in my fridge and my vegies last 3 weeks in these special crisp bags I got from Woolies. So I save roughly $50 a month on produce. Am getting disability trust to pay my utilities bills now as the cost of living is through the roof. I always paid them myself via centrepay but Woolies has doubled the price in grocery so I just get the trust to pay. May try and get the trust to pay for my ISP provider and mobile phone bill. Its getting ridiculous. That would free up my budget a bit

er Im on jobseeker so get $300+ a fortnight less than you ok up to $500 less if you are renting privately but am a 'homeowner' now appa rently. so no rent, just rates, full water bills, sewage etc plus levies

ok had pension card for like 9 years now tho. been on free meds last month or more cos already over the limit. i dont do ATO as no work

You know what?

It's the medications and health care costs that really make it tough.

I have private health insurance which is hugely expensive but I don't want to give it up because I can't face navigating the public mental health system.

But it's the medicare gaps and the difference between private health and actual costs that really hurts me!
