Sometimes I feel like I’m on top of things and don’t feel like my trauma defines me and I don’t feel so ashamed and scared. Other times I want to hide from the world and feel like a **** (I’m not going to say the word here since I don’t want to trigger anyone) 😭, I feel so ashamed that I don’t want people to know
@creative_writer ugh, yeah really tough one to navigate! Has your gp ever had some ideas on how to circumnavigate the interactions?
Also I'm off for tonight, but feel free to tag me tomorrow if you wanna chat more 💜

@Jynx, ideally you shouldn’t be taking pain relief often or need it often. Preventatives are a better option. Part of it could be a blood pressure thing too and it might make more sense to bring that to a more normal level, mine tends to run low. Gotta thank my genes for that

This anxiety is itching in my skin, these thoughts won’t stop. What kind of life is this? Why does this keep happening?

Hey @creative_writer I haven't been on the forums for a while but here I am and I wanted to send you some support, that sounds really tough. Is there anything that helps in the moment? Are you able to take a shower to ease some of the discomfort? Sending strength 💝

Re: Oscillation between two mind sets
@Paperdaisy, it’s nice to see you💖.
I’ve been resting up today. I’m also cramping which isn’t helping. I’ve also put the blinds down, the sunlight was making me even more anxious and makes migraines worse. It’s natural to feel anxious with a heavy head. I’m sick of migraines. I’m sick of feeling so overwhelmed. I want the memories to stop flooding in my brain. I’m thinking of taking the shower after lunch, I think I do need to eat

Nice to see you too @creative_writer but I'm sorry to read you've got migraines..
Eating something often helps me, it's so simple but if the blood sugars are low it throws everything off. Take it easy yeah 💝

Re: Oscillation between two mind sets
@Paperdaisy, I’m going to hop into the shower soon and wash some laundry. I feel pretty icky, haven’t had a shower for a few days and the trauma memories is bringing up feelings of shame. It may not completely wash away the shame but at least I’ll feel better. Not sure if I can ever really wash away the shame though
