So I've decided to create a new space, similar to The Ice-Memery but instead of being silly memes, these are memes/images/words etc. that I've found that are more like tools and insights for recovery. Hence, I welcome you to:

These are things I've found that are insightful, provide psychoeducation, or that have helped inspire me in my recovery journey. I invite anyone who wishes to contribute to do so! It doesn't have to be pictures, it can be discussion, questions, videos, whatever you like! But to start us off, I would love to share a nice lil stack of memes/pics I've found that I thought were really worth the read.

@Blackcloud is RSD in leymans terms when rejection impacts feelings and self valuation more than you want it too?

to enter into a room and 20 people think im half decent and 1 person doesn't i will hone in on that person and not be able relax or enjoy the night wanting to give them good reason to reject me

Buuuut rather than ramble at you a bunch I will just send this amazing write up - Three Pillars: Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria

Summary from the link -

"RSD is an extreme (dysphoria means “difficult to bear”) emotional reaction to the perception of rejection, failure, or criticism – regardless of the circumstantial reality."

I think the key part is the 'perception' part, cos RSD can kick off hard even when we aren't actually experiencing rejection, but it just feels like we are.
