Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

I certainly do @Faith-and-Hope That was my whole last few weeks of last term so I totally get it. It is so wonderful how you have all worked together also and have that bond now with each other that will extend further than just this one project. I am totally thrilled for you to have like minded people you can spend time with - makes life just that little bit easier on those harder days when you have that outlet. Could not be happier for you Hon

Re: Far and Away

Good morning @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member and all passing by...

Today Operation Garage begins. The next 3 days are supposed to be rain free so I am going to tackle the big job of finally getting my garage sorted. I am still very tired after another difficult up and down night but very much hoping once I get started I will find some extra energy. It will be great to finally have the garage cleaned up and sorted and I am hoping that will also lift my mood and lead to me being able to do more in the rest of the holidays. That is the plan anyway - let's see how it all progresses.

I hope you both and all passing through have some light in your day ...will keep you updated how it is all going and check in here when I can.

Re: Far and Away

I firstly need to head out to buy some storage boxes to replace some broken ones @eth then mow the backyeard so I can move everything out there. I'll try to collate/stack like things together as I go but the primary job today is to get everything out so I can clean up the garage ready to put everything back in in a more orderly way. Presently everything is stacked on top of each other as that is what I had to do to move things out of the water when it flooded last and then also to put up the roof and wall.

I have brackets to put up to hang things out of the way and a lot of timber and roofing to move from the driveway inside as well. The driveway has become a bit of a storage space and it would be nice to have that all cleared as well. I also need to clear a small space between the fence and the house in the backyard which is a wasted speace - I can move the roofing to there to give me more room in the garage. Some of the roofing can be taken to the tip shop but some I will keep with the aim to make some large decorate flowers out of.

It is a big job but one that needs doing and whilst I have some time (and nice weather) it is perfect timing to get it all done.

Did you talk to SIL about your family visiting last night?
