How has your day panned out @Faith-and-Hope ?

Came back to the art space to work for the rest of the evening with the kids @Zoe7 - except D2, cos mr. has taken over with her care and is sort of marshalling her through a daily routine .... too much to try to battle against. I try to give her looser choices, but she is loving all the “daddy-attention” she is receiving (that’s how she sees it) after not having much for so long, so she is playing us off against each other a bit, and I really don’t have any patience for that at the moment.

The other two and I had take-away for dinner. I was falling asleep around 10:30pm, which is starting to settle as a natural bedtime for me again, which is good, but now I am awake early. That should start to settle too, gradually.

That is tough with D2 @Faith-and-Hope but good you had the company of the other baby dragons last night. It is also good that you are getting some sleep and earlier than you have been. The down side is you are up super early but that also gives you time to do things if you are well rested. I have had a really up and down few nights and am certainly still tired as a result. I moved to the couch early this morning and woke around 7 with a fluffball laying on my chest lol He then licked my face when I woke up before jumping off to wait for his breakfast. Cat was already by her bowl asking for food so I had to get up to feed them both. I certainly will have another sleep this morning to try to catch up a little.

It rained overnight here and I forgot to get the washing in yesterday so that ill stay on the line a bit longer Luckily I have time for it to dry again. Today I am going to unpack my bag and all the school stuff and try to sort it all out. I will have to clean up the dining table first so I have room to do that. I also have some more cleaning up to do in the kitchen and Lovely to wake up to this mornhoping to get some things put away back in the garage. I had planned to mow the backyard today too but after the rain last night that won't be possible.

haha @Maggie Toby is a pretty common dog name but for the owner to be a teacher too is rather cool 😁👍 My little fluffball is sound asleep on the doona on the couch at the moment. Cat has taken herself back outside into the dog kennel - that seems to be her favourite spot right now ...she can stay in there in all weather and I know where she is so all good 😺✔

I read that your friend didn't turn u for painting yesterday - I hope she is okay but also annoying for you with all the prep you put in. Do you have any plans for today Hon?
