A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Awwww ..... sounds like you have been in the washing machine @Zoe7 ..... 😔

That was me the week before. This week my artwork has really picked me up. I love the group project we have just completed in one unit, and it is going into an exhibition next week .... applying for another one for it for next year, because it was a monumental effort that deserves to be displayed.

I am still tired, but had a sleep in this morning (8am lol).

Can you set out some artwork to do ? Something special just for you ? A small one .... a butterfly on a mini-canvas, or paper, with collage elements ? Would love to see something like that from you .....

Re: Far and Away

The washing machine is a good analogy @Faith-and-Hope

Not up for doing anything right now - need time to rest, sleep and literally do nothing. I know that is not ideal for too long as it is when I begin to spiral downwards but for today nothing is what I need. I had a really bad night last night and so today is just trying to stay on top of getting through. I have had work this week to do that and of course despite all the changes the kids have made that a little easier. It has been nice to spend some time with Toby today but I also need to get my place cleaned up - the mess is making my mood worse.

It is exciting to hear about your group project Hon and even more so that you have enjoyed it this week - that makes me smile I hope you get it into the exhibition for next year too

Thank you @Zoe7 .....

Have I mentioned that I’ve missed you ? 😏

I hope the resting up and gentle tidy up help to pick you up .....

Re: Far and Away

Oh Hon I have very much missed you too You know (I hope) that I am always thinking of you even when I am not here. Sometimes it is just too hard - feeling that this week and no energy to connect with anyone.

I have a lovely story (actually 2) for you from work the other day @Faith-and-Hope I was wearing my necklace again and two kids asked me about it. I explained that it represented a very special friend and everytime I wear it it reminds me of her. I further explained that the faith and hope are what you give me everyday and that the rose is your favourite flower - they seemed very touched by my explanation of what you meant to me

The second one is I was supervising a 4/5 class for a little while and one of the grade 5 boys drew a picture. I laughed at it because it was a mix of different animals and was super cute. He went on to draw another ...of peacocks - which when finished he presented to me as stated it was from all the 4/5s. The acting principal was really surprised as she said she can never get him to even talk to her. It currently lives on my fridge and is a reminder of both him and of course you - just another of those little unexpected moments in the day with the kids that made me smile - for more than one reason.

Re: Far and Away

I have a cute one from yesterday @Faith-and-Hope but a little different ...it was quite warm where we were and I had to take my jumper off - one of the smallest girls in the class decided, she wanted to wear it. The sleeves nearly reached the ground and it was like a really long dress on her ...and it was warm. I did ask her if she was hot and she said yes but wouldn't take it off. She ended up sitting in the dirt and pine bark as well and all I could do was laugh. I will add it is my favourite jumper so to see it so covered with dirt and pine bark was a little shocking but seeing the smile on her face was priceless.
