Far and Away

@Faith-and-Hope I have given up on the idea of getting things done for the display of the birdhouses. Sometimes we need to just do what we can and today I have no energy or motivation - not going to beat myself up over it as I am sure whatever we present will be enough - just my expectations of myself are higher than they probably need to be for this Expo. The birdhouses and little birds are done and that is enough. I'll throw some of the fence palings left in the car later and some coloured material and use those as a background on tables. The kids can collect some broken branches, sticks, leaves etc, from around school and we can throw them on the table too.

How is your assignment coming along? Have you been out with D3 yet?

Is there somewhere high, like verandah posts, that you can string a line from and hang the birdhouses that way @Zoe7 ? Just a thought .....

Great suggestion but unfortunately the Expo is inside the hall so nowhere to hang them ...plus no hooks to hang them on @Faith-and-Hope It would look great as a hanging garden effect though I think I can use some boxes from the classroom and the fence palings to make some shelves on the table so they are at different heights - that should be okay.

I hope shopping with D3 is done quickly and you can get back home in your jammies 😁

Home just now @Zoe7 . Shopping went well. What we missed today we will have to sort out in the west, but it’s all feeling under much better control. S2 is struggling today though, so D3 has taken herself off to be with him.

I have my assignment to finalise now, so will get on with that, and hope the rest of it ties together quickly so I can put it behind me and get some sleep tonight. Feeling the sleep debt .....

Pleased to hear the shopping went better than expected @Faith-and-Hope Sorry S2 is struggling today - it is really hard when we have those days so it is lovely of D3 to spend time with him

Goodluck with getting your assignment knocked over quickly. You do need an early night Hon to get that much needed sleep. I need to be into work early tomorrow so am planning on an early night myself. I have done nothing today so will have to do it in the morning. I have a little time off tomorrow to catch up but need their spelling words done for first thing - should only take about half an hour so will plan on getting in there just before 8.

Cat is still not eating so will call the vet as soon as they open as well.

@Faith-and-Hope Fell asleep on the couch this evening so heading to bed. Hope you got your assignment done and can do the same. Goodnight Hon
