A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

How are you LF @CheerBear ?

Re: Far and Away

They're good, thanks @Zoe7 🙂. We spent the weekend at home instead of out visiting people and I think they've liked being home. Big has been enjoying food studies so they're cooking a bit which is great. Big and Middle made dessert last night which was funny as they had no idea what they were doing and did a wing-it job 😆 I've just found after school activities for each of them for term 4. Cooking, hip hop, and a sport program. All affordable and local. All requiring some energy I am not sure I have. But they'll enjoy it and it's important.

How's things with you going? Imagining you're looking forward holidays soon?

Re: Far and Away

Glad to hear it @CheerBear ❣️

Coffee was nexessary @Zoe7 .... lol

My assignment is almost done, and early this time. I think that’s a first - early in that it’s due for submission at midnight. While it is not finished yet, the next part is pretty straight-forward and not terribly time consuming. Then it’s parcelling it properly that is the next challenge ......

It will be nice to have it finished before I chase down baby dragon stuff in a large shopping centre this afternoon, likely returning home too scrambled to concentrate properly, and prone to making mistakes ..... without a time pressure looming as well.

Re: Far and Away

I love the idea of your LF cooking @CheerBear learning by doing is often just as much fun as the final result. Great job on organising such a variety of after school activities - you will find the energy Hon and it may come with seeing your LF enjoying what they are doing - kids are great for that.

I am looking forward to the school holidays but also a little sad as that will mean I am not on that class anymore. I have thoroughly enjoyed both being back on class and also the class I have had. I will really miss all that

@Faith-and-Hope So happy to hear your assignment is nearly finished and you will have more headspace to deal with the drive and shopping this afternoon. I just gave Cat a little bit of sausage - bought some and cooked them up for her - she ate one piece so will give her more and see how that goes.

Re: Far and Away

I don't know whether seeing them enjoying doing their activities will give me energy @Zoe7. I think when I reach this kind of point it's beyond that, but I do know it's important for lots of reasons and that they'll enjoy it and that makes it worth it.

That sucks to not have that class anymore especially given how much you've enjoyed it. Will you be in another class or going back to floating between (that's totally the wrong word I'm sure, but not sure what the right word is).

@Faith-and-Hope go you with your assignment. Hope this afternoon isn't too scrambling for you ❤

Re: Far and Away

I will be back to floating about @CheerBear It is easier in terms of planning but does get boring, I will be going back to having Wednesday's off instead of Thursday's so that will break up the week again into more manageable days. I can hopefully pick up some relief days as well - makes it less stressful and tiring when I have less to plan for on the other days. I really need to pick up a few days to help with finances - really struggling in that department only working 4 days.

I hear you about the energy and how little you have - it is super hard to get motivated to do anything and you have so much on your plate too Hon - really feel for you knowing I have been there and just how tough it is
