A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

Cat didn't eat all of her dinner again @Shaz51 I have put her bowl in her room with the hope she finishes it off soon. If she doesn't then I have the BBQ chicken to give her - if she doesn't eat that then I will certainly be worried again.

Re: Far and Away

That is gold @Zoe7 .... ❣️

Thank you so much @Sans911 ..... 💜💐💕

The kids did have a lot of positive input from their Dad before things went haywire the way they did, I can’t disceedit that in any way, but it is no small thing that they have taken on the role of shepherding their unwell Dad, and shielding our relationship as much as they can in the process, so hopefully we can all get through this and still be together. It’s a “changing of the horses” so to speak, and one I wasn’t expecting. Still a bit stunned, but good-stunned.

Re: Far and Away

@Faith-and-Hope Your kids have had a great example from you to be lead by Hon. You have been holding the family together for so long and under immense strain and pressure and your kids have not only seen that but appreciate what you have done for them as well as the family structure. Do not underestimate just how much of what they are doing now has been modelled by you and just how much of you is in them. All the efforts, sacrifices and care you have shown is now coming out in your kids and all they want to see from you is some of that happiness you once had ...that is not only growth within them but a realisation that you deserve only the very best in life as well. You have lead them in that direction Hon and now they are repaying your love and commitment to them in a way that you deserve.

Re: Far and Away

Cat ate a little chicken but hasn't touched her biscuits @Faith-and-Hope I will give her a little more chicken before I head to bed and hope she eats it all. I have kept her bowl in her room so Toby can't get to it so if she feels better across the night she has something in there to eat.

Re: Far and Away

Hi @Former-Member So lovely of you to check in Hon. Very much thinking of you too 🌺🌸🌷💐💜

@Faith-and-Hope @Sans911 Cat only ate half her breakfast - good she ate something but not great that it was only a little of it. She has gone outside now so will put her bowl back in her room and hope she eats the rest when she comes in. Definitely going to need a trip to the vet - do not need the expense of that but grateful they will let me pay it off as I do not have the money to pay for it

I feel like I have so much to do today but no energy or motivation so far this morning to start. Having Cat not eating properly has certainly added to that. I also need to head out to the chemist and supermarket to get food for Toby, I will try to head out as soon as the chemist opens so I have time to do everything else I need to do today.

I hope you are recovering well @Sans911 and got some sleep overnight.

Also hoping you got some assignment work done last night @Faith-and-Hope and get it all done in time for submission time.

Good morning @Zoe7 @Sans911 @Snowie @Former-Member @Shaz51 @Former-Member @Maggie @outlander @oceangirl @Adge @MDT @Gazza75 ......anyone else around 👋💕 .... need ☕️.

I have just woken up and I am hungry, so that means it’s time to get up.

Are you able to tell if Cat is toileting @Zoe7 ? If she seems otherwise to be her normal self, it might be a blockage of some sort. Can’t hairballs do that ? @Sans911 might have more aid an idea about that, and there might be a standard way to treat a hairball that doesn’t harm the cat, that you could try ? Just trying to think outside the square here ...... @Adge has had cats for a while too.

My assignment is coming together really well, but it is one made up of a lot of fragments that you have to get into the right order and balance, so you have to take the time to piece it together properly ..... which I am doing ..... around other stuff.

I ended up at Bunnings last night with D3. She needed to pick up some materials for Sculpture studio ..... which reminded me that Inhaad things to pick up for my next project in Sculpture studio ..... then I remembered that we have no mop and bucket because those went to the Art Space, so cleaners or not, we need a mop and bucket .... :face_with_rolling_eyes: and so it went. But it was a job well done, you know, filing in those little holes where things are missing, and therefore not working properly, but to see to fixing them takes you out of your usual tracks, which is sometimes just too hard .....🤨 ? Well, I fixed it 🎉 because I was there anyway 😏

I found packets of blue glass butterflies in the garden section out the back @Zoe7 .... just an FYI ..... didn’t pick them up cos my tally was already a bit on the high side, but I know they are there, right next to packets of sea glass, and I will think of a sculpture project that lands them in my trolley next time.

i have decided not to go to church this morning. With mr. and D2 away, there is no rush and bustle happening here, and I need more time in my landed-in-a-heap heap. Maybe because of what the kids had said a couple of days ago, about it being okay to let go of the household steering wheel, I am more sluggish and in no mood at all to get up, dressed, drive, and talk to other people when my mind is on pyjamas, ☕️, and getting this assignment done ahead of the submission time tonight ..... especially as there needs to be a special D3 shopping trip this afternoon which involves driving ..... and hopefully S2 who has been isolating since his dad left last week, probably for the same reason I will be skipping church this morning .... ie in his landed-in-a-heap state.

We have a special event in the west in a couple of weeks that we need to prepare for, which is supposed to be really happy, but the relocation has made also-sad ..... so we are trying to do it in the best way possible .... which means the same sort of “Bunnings” shopping we were doing last night, only at a not-Bunnings this time ......

I am going to go get a ☕️, armed with my notebook as I did yesterday, in my jammies with a throw-over and rain boots like I did yesterday, and see how much more assignment I can get done outside these walls, but not having to dress up or drive.
