Far and Away

Yes, finished that part of my homework @Zoe7 . No, not home yet.

Everyone lse has eaten, and my meals have been all over the place today. I ended up staying in with the cleaners (!) while mr. went to the gym (he did ask me nicely if I would) while D3 was in bed and D2 home as well, but it took me way past lunchtime to eat. By the time ai got to uni all the vegan food was sold out of the cafe (big fast day today) so I just had a big almond-milk coffee to tide me over. I have decided to stop now and have a noodle soup for dinner before going home.

This part of the city is full of students and bright lights, so I am safe to do that. Putting it down to self care ..... then home to do the next lot of homework for tomorrow.

So glad you mentioned you are safe to do that @Faith-and-Hope Stops me worrying about you being out alone at night

You surprised me with Mr asking nicely - but so glad he did. I can imagine you feel a bit uncomfortable having the cleaners there though - and tradesmen as well today so a lot invading your space - that sucks - going to uni would have been a welcome relief.

I am glad you are having something to eat even if it is just a little - can't have you being hungry and lacking energy Hon!

Toby is sound asleep on the couch and I won't be far away either. Very tired but my chest is feeling better and not much coughing tonight so that is progress. The ABs are working already and I have been resting and drinking plenty (as per your instructions ) so hopefully this is the end of it and I will continue to improve over the next few days. Plenty of cutting to do on Saturday then going to see my Dad on Sunday. Will take Toby with me for the company and he can run around with their dog in the backyard. Have you sent anything to your Dad?

I haven’t sent something to my Dad @Zoe7 ..... I went to, but the postage cost as much as the gift did. It reminds me that I am a lot further away than when I was sending to him in the same state 😔. I will be seeing him in another couple of weeks though, so I will call him on Sunday, then give the gift in person.

Oh that is disappointing @Faith-and-Hope Postage does seem to cost so much more these days Glad you will be seeing him soon though - that will be lovely for you Hon I am sure he will absolutely love your call on Sunday - as you will calling him

I am off to bed. Be safe on your way home and try not to stay up too late. Get done what you can for tomorrow and get some well earned rest.
