A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Thanks Hon Got to get these cardboard rings cut out first @Maggie which will likely take a couple of hours then I intend to head to bed. Will fight through it for now if I can - can't let the kids down for tomorrow. They are really excited about making these animals and we took a lot of time planning exactly what we would need. Will be a fun day if I have everything organised for them and they can get stuck into it from the morning. Will take most of the day to get them done but they are super cute when completed

Re: Far and Away

I have a prescription med for my IBS @Former-Member which does help most of the time - certainly dulls the symptoms. More nausea and feeling like I am going to vomit tonight so definitely not going to eat. I rarely eat out but am careful when I do too. When I have a meal at my parents' or sisters place they are very good at not including ingredients that would affect me.

Re: Far and Away

Good afternoon @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member @Former-Member @Maggie and all passing through

I have had a great day with the kids. We ended up doing pompom making nearly all day. Thank goodness I had some parent help as I would never have been able to do it all on my own. The kids were amazing though - a couple in particular really stepped up and helped the other kids with their pompoms. My 'challenging' boy was one of them and I don't have anything but wonderful comments to make about how much he helped out. The kids then all got stuck into the cleaning up and not one of them didn't help. I was sooo proud of all of them today

We also had some time for their researching of their animals and my girl who has a significant trauma background did more work than anyone - she usually needs constant reminding to stay on task but today she led the way. It was also recognised by many in the class and several kids came up to me to tell me her name should be on the board for 'being awesome'. I love when the kids themselves recognise their peers for this - actually melts my heart at how lovely they can be to each other.

I have a lot of pompoms to finish up for the kids this weekend (cutting and tying off) then they can put on legs, arms, eyes, etc. on Monday. Need them completed early in the week so we can take photos to present as a powerpoint at assemble next week.

Been to the chemist *which I forgot to do yesterday) and now don't have to go out this weekend. Have enough food for the babies until next week so that trip to the pet shop can wait. Going to be a long weekend with a lot to get done but feeling a little more alive this afternoon than I did yesterday.

Whatever was making me feel so ill seems to have passed - was up and down all night last night and still felt ordinary this morning. At one stage I didn't think I would make it to work but I managed to get ready and off to work early and improved a lot by the time the kids got there - so relieved as I knew the kids were looking forward to the day.

I have not caught up with how everyone is going today but suspecting you all need some love and hugs tonight. You were all very much in my thoughts today knowing you would all love that I was having such a good day with the kids.

Much love and huge hugs to you all
