@Former-Member It is hard to read out a eulogy for someone so close to you. I did my Nan's but somehow found the strength when the time came. I believe you will too Hon as you will be honouring the memory of your Mum and I have no doubt she will be on your shoulder encouraging you the whole way. We will of course be with you in spirit too so if you need a little more courage then think of us holding your hand throughout.

Hey @BlueBay Yes doing okay but a big week coming up back at work. Certainly need to get some things done today before we start back tomorrow. It is a student free day though so hoping we get some time to ourselves to get things organised.

Friday night had very restlesss night , not much sleep

and yes we went to take some photos @Zoe7 but by the time we got home again , i was worse

and then last night mr shaz got a upset stomach and felt like being sick

I know Mr Shaz was looking forward to getting out and taking some photos so pleased you did that but not so good that you both have this bug @Shaz51 Take it easy my sister - rest up and hope gets better for both of you quickly.

@Former-Member I wasn’t able to read out a eulogy for my Mum .... I hadn’t expected to lose her and was way overwhelmed. I couldn’t even write one. It just felt too big ..... and we were living overseas at the time, and due to go back ..... but my brother wrote a beautiful one and read it out. I was so grateful to him, and it was unexpected. He didn’t ask, just did it ❣️

He has been diagnosed late in life with AS, so that helps with understanding how he thinks and what he does, his perspectives and choices. The eulogy was beautiful and “him” in a way that is awesomely creative and unique, born of his perspectives.

I think if I had written a eulogy I would have needed someone else to read it out for me, and that would have been okay too.

I am still trying to determine a way to honour my Mum (many years later) through an artwork. I still don’t know what that will be - perhaps a collage. It’s something my mind and heart are still working on.

@Faith-and-Hope I believe you honour your Mum every day by just being you - she could not ask anymore of the person you are and so much of that is down to what she was for you as a role model ...just sayin' 💕
