Hope church this morning and the family lunch goes okay @Faith-and-Hope and hope you back feels better soon

In my PJ`s still , all day , have a stomach bug and am also itchy all over , feeling yuk

slept in this morning , must of needed it , missed church

mum had a sink cancer removed on tuesday and the doctor put her in hospital for 3 day to keep an eye on her

mum was allowed home yesterday and i said i won`t stay as i don`t want to give you my stomach bug and then she gave me a big hug ---- awwww

Yes, got to church, and there was a bigger than usual gathering of ladies afterwards for coffee. I met a lovely elderly lady for the first time and had a wonderful conversation with her about many things, so a good morning so far.

Lunch will be late, because of my mr.’s regimen restrictions, but I have tried to stretch him to a bit earlier .... let’s see how that goes .....

That is no good @Shaz51 Hope it passes quickly for you and you feel a lot better really soon. So nice of your Mum to give you a hug and I hope she is okay back at home.

Did you and Mr. Shaz get out yesterday to take photos or were you too unwell?

Such a lovely morning for you - it is always nice to hear you have had those interactions and especially with new people ...slow;y widening your circle around you and that is a wonderful thing Everytime you mention you have met someone new it gives me a little heartlift - you need those type of lovely people in your life and that outlet for connection and to just have a chat - very happy that you found that this morning

I am going to cook a couple of things this afternoon for the next coupe of days so I don't have to cook when I get home. The next few days will be late ones as tomorrow we will have to move all the furniture back into the classroom after the carpet and lino was replaced and then I will have to set the room up. Tuesday is our whole school late night for meetings and team planning and then Wednesday we have a staff meeting an then I have pdoc at 4.30. I think come my day off on Thursday I will just want to sleep!

They have both lifted my mood a little. My Mum loved flowers, and they make me think of her.

@Shaz51 so sorry to hear you are suffering from a tummy bug. Hope it passes quickly, pardon any pun there. I was also sorry to read that your mum needed to stay in hospital for the weekend due to the wound not healing as well as hoped. Fingers crossed she's home soon and all good.

I'm about to go for a sleep right now, snuggle down under a doona. Despite going to bed earlier than normal last night, I did not sleep. A nap now might help. I did complete my written tribute to my Mum this morning, so at least I have accomplished something. Trouble is, I dont know if I will be able to read it. I'd like to, but I dont know if I can. I could always give it to the minister who is conducting the service, to finish, if I cannot get through it all.

For now ... sleep is needed, in a warm bed and a hot pack for my aching back and shoulder. Once again I feel really chilled to the bone today, even though it really isnt cold.
