Sigh ... not good. But thanks for asking. And no ... I dont want to talk about it, because I dont even know where to start.

How are you anyway? I read somewhere that you have been going through a particularly tough time right now too? I think I got that right. I am heading off to hubbys GP appointment soon. Hoping to convince him to go somewhere for lunch while we're out ... just for a change, as it would be good for both of us ... but not having much success right now. I guess he just isnt feeling up to it. My Mum continues to be a major concern too, and remains resistant when it comes to accepting home care. At least she hasnt cancelled it entirely ... yet. Okay well ... I best be off and get ready for this appointment for hubby.

Hope all goes smoothly for you today @Former-Member and that you get your nice lunch somewhere along the way. Sorry to hear about your Mum's resistance - mine is very much the same. In denial about some of her needs and telling us we are judging and trying to control her when we express care and concern.

I'm ok today thanks. Heading out soon with a support worker to go to water tai chi. Not quiet as stressed as I was about one part of what's going on (NDIS stuff) but still challenged by a few other things.

I hope you get that nice lunch out too @Former-Member .... miracles happen sometimes, and they are a wonderful respite when they do .... 💐💕 Hugs 🧸

Yes it is hard @MDT but not always ..... so I chase patches of sunshine and try to jump from one to the next as much as life allows me to, and lick my wounds in between. There is lovely caring company here for me to do that with, and nothing needs to be said .... just being here can be enough often.

The giraffe is standing up again so all the work I did on it last night was worth it. Need to let the legs dry now beforem I begin the next coat. The bonus mof it standing up is I can place it close to the heater and thus the legs will dry enough today to work on them again tonight. I have made up a new batch of glue that should be ready tomorrow to use when I run out of what I already have. One of the back legs needs a little done to it as well then I can start on repairing the head. Feeling quite pleased with what I have achieved and that has lifted my mood a little today. very tired though as I was up late so will probably sleep most of the afternoon.
