Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

Not great @MDT but taking it a day at a time for now. It is school holidays here so I have time to do a few things - especially get organised for next term. Hope you are doing okay.

Re: Far and Away

@Faith-and-Hope I have reshaped the giraffe's front legs and put several coats of paper on them. There is still a lot to go but it is well underway. I should be able to finish them off tomorrow and then let it drym for a few days. Cat was very interested to see what was laying on the loungeroom floor - she circled around it cautiously for a few minutes. Toby is more interested in sleeping lol

Hi @Zoe7 .. Feeling very disappointed for Ash Barty tonight. Her opponent played really well, and deserved her win. But I had the feeling something wasnt quite right with Ash. An injury perhaps? She did pull out of a tournament the week before Wimbledon.

The Aussie women had a very big win last night in the cricket. And not forgetting your Lions win on the weekend.

Hello also @Faith-and-Hope @Shaz51

Ok @Zoe7
Thanks my friend. I miss you here.
But understand the distance you need. Hope you're enjoying the break and you're planning is going well.

Re: Far and Away

I was disappointed Ash didn't win too @Former-Member but the American girl played really well. I saw the Aussie cricket team had a good win last night I was very surprised we beat GWS but my boys played really well and stopped their running game.

I know you are doing it really tough at the moment Hon - much like you I have been thinking of you but can't find the words to support anyone. It doesn't feel the same for me here still but I am hoping given a bit more time I can find my way back. It has certainly left a hole in my life over the past weeks but I have lost all confidence that I have anything to give. That sense of worthlessness is so hard to get over. I have an appointment with my psych next week though - it has been a couple of months since I have seen her - very much need it

Re: Far and Away

My hubby’s people are from the Mediterranean @MDT, half his family is there, so we go visit, and it keeps us all speaking both languages.
