A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

I am glad Hon It won't be the same here without you but I hold you close to my heart and that means a lot to me.

Are you all ready to go now? Do you have much visual diary work left?

Re: Far and Away

The visual diary work won’t take long once I get started on it @Zoe7 , and I have until the end of Tuesday for that part ..... the funny thing is, I am flying “backwards” so I am gaining half a day .... 😄

Still sorting out the labelling of stuff, and making more mistakes :face_with_rolling_eyes: so I have sort of just accepted that this bit is not going to come out easily, and I am going with the flow, and learning what NOT to do in the process 😏

The Visual Diary stuff is enjoyable, so hopefully nothing else too dramatic will be going on at the same time, and I can just go with the flow with that too. It helps to bear in mind that ordinarily I would be at uni this week, with a public holiday tomorrow, so I am “still at uni” just in a different location, with packing, flying and moving house going every which way around me.

Staying in the moment makes things more doable.

Re: Far and Away

Good morning everyone .......... we are getting some really beautiful winter weather here the past couple of days, and more to follow for the rest of the week according to the forecast. I think its meant to get to 23C today ... warm and sunny and calm. I need to make the most of this weather this week because the following week I will be visiting family in the Southern Tablelands .... heavy frosts and freezing days. So today I have just put a load of washing on the line. Ticking things off my must-do list starts as of now. Its a public holiday here today, but tomorrow I need to phone and make an appointment at the vets for Holly's annual check up and vaccinations. That will be another tick. Everything else for me, will need to wait until my return from family visit. Hubbys appointments are Wednesday and Thursday this week.

How are your preparations going @Faith-and-Hope ? I'm still not quite sure when you actually leave the country. But I think its today. Sending much love and warm wishes for safe travels and happy reunions with family and friends. Really hope MIL does not become too much of a problem for you. May your final preparations before departure run smoothly. There are many of us here who will miss you greatly.

Hey @Zoe7 ... we lost the cricket overnight ... but they were chasing 352, and fell short by 40 odd runs. They did okay, just beaten by a better team on the night. India were impressive and having the pick of the conditions by winning the toss and batting first, certainly helped. Shame our soccer world cup team lost .. .they will be disappointed with their efforts I think. Too many missed opportunities.

Hi to @BlueBay @oceangirl @eth @Shaz51 and anyone else reading. Hope your day is a good one.

Sherry 💜🌼🌹

Re: Far and Away

You have much to get done this week @Former-Member before you head off next week also. I didn't watch the cricket or soccer so thank you for updating the results. Not great that they both lost but still buzzing over Ash's win.

I have a lot to do today but finding I have run out of the little bit of energy I had yesterday so it will be an uphill battle today. I also need to book in Toby and Cat for their annual check ups but that will need to wait another couple of weeks as I still cannot afford it. Once I have these couple of Wednesdays worked I will get paid extra for them so that will go towards the vet visits.

It is cold and wet here today so an inside day for me. I still have the giraffe on the trailer and need to get that off before it rains again. It will live on my front verandah for a while until I can make space inside. I am planning on cleaning it up as it has been outside under cover for months and accumulated a lot of dust. Then will begin the process of fixing all the dents and holes that were put in it by kids while it was at school.

I finally have my dentist appointment this Friday as well as pdoc on Wednesday. It will be such a relief to have my teeth out and the pain gone. Thank goodness it is pay week so I can pay for that and pdoc. I really need this pdoc appointment this week - especially with the med change. I can see small differences over the last couple of days and hoping that continues this week.
