Ancient thrugh to modern .... ruins as a backdrop to buildings a couple of hundred years old .... set amongst a fast-paced technology fuelled life .....

I managed to get lots of walking in today .... walked up to the park to visit my cat-friends .... walked to the train after that with WH, D2 and D3 for Greek doughnuts ....

They are drizzled with honey and crushed walnuts. WH had a quarter of a traditional custard phyllo role .... 😳 .... but no doughnuts .... still a shocker cos it wasn't anyone's birthday, and it was bigger than a teaspoonful .... progress ??" ***

Then he took off to meet his regimen commitments .... :face_with_rolling_eyes: .... while the girls and I stayed in town and shopped a bit.

Ended up catching a taxi back from the train cos it was dark by the time we got back to our area of town

I posted a couple of pics taken in the city on F&A thread .... will transfer this one there too ....

*** Re WH and "progress ...?" - I am eating things like this in moderation, and not gaining weight.

I am hoping that WH will start to feel frustrated that he is being so austere with his regimen to avoid gaining weight .... and here I am in defiance of his "ideal" way of life .... eating what I like moderately ..... exercising moderately ... and not gaining weight ....

Hoping that will help push him towards Stage 2 of the Cycle of Change in e.d.'s .....

Wish I could tag along with ya to Sydney @Former-Member, visit my sick parents, i live 12hrs+ drive away too.

@Faith-and-Hope, thank you soooo much for posting all these amazing photos. The city streets tell 1,000 words about the current culture in Greece, the people, and old&new, like that, and the hilly streets. Especially loved the 1,100yr old Greek Orthodox Church wow! if walls could talk! And the Modern GOC interior, my goodness, so much art, and the exterior certainly has its typical style, but it does reminds me of Mexico for some reason.

Anyway thanks again, dtay strong on the inside, centred, keep dragging those baby dragons outside, away from their gadgets - such a hood mum 🙂

You are all helping me get through. So much - can't message everyone list too long and I need to go to work to make food money ( yummy ) but last night : listening and spending time with silence and my new good book :
