Hi @oceangirl ... it sounds like a couple of busy days for you. Was it Milo who actually likes going to the vet? He could be pulling the wool over your eyes in order to get back to the vet. 🤣 Clever boy. Does he get treats from the vet? My girls refuses to take any treats from vets. She just sulks. Did you find the dietition helpful in todays appointment? Hope so. I hope looking at a house tomorrow is a successful venture for you. I'm sorry you are feeling anxious this evening. Perhaps you could try to listen to some calming music prior to bed, or read a book? You said in your post "I do know why". Was that meant to read "I dont know why"? If you do know the reason for feeling anxious, is there anything you can do about the cause of your anxiety which may relieve it somewhat?

Busy busy @Faith-and-Hope ... really hope you get through to the end of that assignment you're working so hard on tonight. Then you can tick that off your long 'must do' list. And onto the next ............

I find interacting with people stressful- and I think I am the only one

I went for another walk tonight- I think it was good for me to get out in the fresh air

Milo when happy doesn't mind going to vet but when he is sick he doesn't like it- the last time he was there he was quite unhappy but rightly so he was quite sick. However Milo has been through so much for a dog that is 17months old but he is cheeky and happy.

My other fur baby is always happy, and loves going to the vet. She is 12 and half years old, but still gets excited, not as much as she used to, but she probably got more energy, than most young dogs. Milo can't have treats, because of his crohns disease. I had just been preparing the dogs meals for tomorrow, and I done a bit prep for my meals too.

@Faith-and-Hope really hope the purchase of your new home goes smoothly and that you are managing to finish your assignments while packing for your trip. Sending wishes that you have some really enjoyable anticipation atm with so much change afoot.

@Zoe7 you've been on my mind a lot. Hope yesterday's rest has left you feeling somewhat refreshed for work today, and that you have some pain relief by now too.

Thank goodness your mum can help financially - one less full-on stressor for you. And nice to hear you have some informal support out there irl.

I have said today that I will do the extra Wednesdays on the 4/5 class and already talked to their teacher to know their normal routines and what they are working on. It should be an easier day than I first thought as much of the planning for the days have already been done. I am also going to do some papier mache planets with the kids so that will get them workingon something hands-on as well.

I have had to change my appointments with my GP and pdoc to do that but they are within the same week just different days. That way I can do both and will not need to leave on any days early. I really need the money so in the end it was a no-brainer - especially as I could move my appointments. It will make the next four weeks extremely long and I am worried about how I will cope with not having a day off but knowing there is little planning to do helps with that.

I am also taking the preps again tomorrow but it is the same class I have had a couple of times before and they have work they need to finish. It will need a little planning tonight but that shouldn't take too long as I have an idea already what I am going to do.

There is an event on at school tonight that I wasn't going to go to but am feeling okay enough after work to go for a little while. It will be cold so I will keep rugged up and will only stay for an hour or so as I will need to finsih the planning when I get home.
