Good morning @Zoe7 ... lovely to hear from you. How are you doing today?
Hey guess what? I just finished booking my train tickets to visit family! Leaving at midnight on 18th June and arriving at my destination a little over 12 hours later, ie lunchtime with family. I feel much relieved that the decision is made, I feel lighter. I know its going to be a difficult visit, but it will also be a break of sorts. Much to do there in trying to instigate and set in motion some home care arrangements for my parents. It was October last year that I saw them last. And that was when Dad was terribly ill after a stroke. Now its Mum who is the main concern, with continuing physical and mental decline. So it will be a matter of somehow getting them to accept some help in the home, and not keep cancelling our efforts to get them help. This afternoon I see my psych. Still not sure how much to tell her. But I also know she will likely ask the relevant questions and I cannot lie to her. 🤔 Zoe I hope you are having a restful day? I think you planned a day of sleeping, I hope you can do that. Its another foul weather day here, cold and windy ... perfect to be under the doona.
Hi @Faith-and-Hope ... I too hope that the house you are inspecting today turns out to be perfectly suitable for your needs and comfort. Fingers crossed for you. Yes .. huge decision, but likely one which will prove to be a settling option. Finally somewhere you can make your home once again. The rushed countdown to your overseas visit must seem daunting. I'm feeling that already about my upcoming trip away to visit family, and thats only for 6 days. But there is still so much I need to get done and prepared before I leave. You're amazing .. honestly. 🌸
Hello also to @Sans911 @oceangirl @Teej @eth I hope your days are bright.
