Yes ... that's about it re MIL .... but y'know we have some good times too. She came around a lot across time .... her husband left her for one of her girlfriends, a new one at time time, and it shattered her world (again) .... but this time she had her sons to help her manage, and he (husband) had been a rat-bag for most of their marriage anyway .... so for the first time in her life she was learning how to be her own person.

It's been quite a journey cos it affected all of the relationships, of course, but this new form of relationship re WH and his mum is e.d. driven .... part of underlying attachment issues or something.

If you were back in PErth, we could both be looking at a great little segment of batik art on Channel 24 that Janet Holmes of Court purchased. It's so interesting. We can make curtians once we batiked the material......very interesting tv segment.

I wonder if your MIL is seeing the good sides of you ?

Sounds like WH has adult ADHD - what a pain! Glad someone saved you from having to risk conflict by voicing your concerns about overdoing reservations, and he listened - thank God indeed. Glad he gives visiting relies a priority, his driven mind-set sure can be tightly wound by the sound of it, gosh! Not getting what he planned probably triggered the mood swings (agitated, sarcastic and narky). My hubby was like that, not take responsibility, put it all on me "what's wrong with you !!" Its a defense thing grrr! Yep bit of a circus at times, gotta laugh or ya cry. You sound like you're doing a good job at keeping the peace though. Hope there's good bits in between? Hows the kids? D3 walking normal now? xox

After a day of touristy stuff yesterday with lots of walking D3 had to rest her knee, but generally she okay with it @Former-Member .... thanks for asking .....

WH too hard to work out in the main .... yeah sarky, narky behaviour definitely linked to not having things meet his expectations, but once he has settled with it, he acts like nothing at all happened ... ??!! This is foreign to how he used to be as well.

Been missing you a bit @Former-Member, but there's been a lot of traffic around the forums lately .... was coming to find you but you found me first .... ❣
