Anaesthestic drugs cominbed with any other meds or even just on their own can often cause all sorts of reactions in people from mild to severe. There may not necessarily be any underlying neurological problem at all, but you may have a sensitivity to anaesthetic drugs. Probably a good idea to have a chat to your GP and see if anything else is going on. I can understand it must be scary and frustrating for you to deal with.

Re: Far and Away

Thank you for your message zoe @Zoe7 . I am really unsure about medication, my decision to start medication was that I would only try one medication. I think you know a bit about my history and what has happen in the last 12 months or a bit longer. Its been tough for me. Firstly with the GP stopping my medication last year and it was probably not the right time for me. My memory is not the best atm, that could be stress and anxiety. I have a bit on my plate atm and I am still really hard on myself. I spoke to psych over the phone today and she suggested TMS again. I am not keen on this treatment, it may work but their is no long term studies. I just feel quite stuck and alone and scared and plenty of other emotions.

I have my fingers crossed that you get to stay in the school you're in because its been such a positive experience for you. I admire your strength and your ability to work despite your challanges. I know its not easy. But you're one determined little butterfly. One step at a time and I am sure you will get there. You're amazing and kind and compassionate person. Take Care

Re: Far and Away

@Sans911Hi again, the reaction was quite severe and because of my previous history it does worry me. I will talk to my psych and see what she says. I may want to be reviewed by a specialist in this field (neurologist)- it may ease my mind. I know none of my other medication had an interaction with the anaesthetic drugs.

I would rather know what is happening, and to get a bigger picture of what is occurring, and what I can do to help myself, and to prevent anything happening again. I think I have a vulnerability in my brain to what I don't know. Thank you for your message and support. You're very kind..

Re: Far and Away

I will get on to that tomorrow. I really don't want to go back into hospital. Because Milo needs me atm.. I have a friend from Nth Qld coming to stay soon, not the friend I have spoken about, but another friend. They will be having major surgery soon up in Brissie and I will be there carer when discharged from hospital. @Zoe7

If I missed the mark before with my post @oceangirl I'm sorry. I realise I don't know enough of what's been happening with you. You do what feels best for you.

I'm not that great tonight. It's been a long day today
