Goodmorning @Faith-and-Hope So pleased your assigment is coming together and hope you finished it last nigth. Equally as pleased that bd is doing okay - both must be a relief for you Hon Hope also that you got some sleep last night. I only woke once last night so that is an improvement ....but still up early. Will have a nap before I need to get ready to head out for lunch.

@Former-Member Hope you got some rest at home and had some cuddle time with Holly. It is a big drive back to the hospital so will you be going back today or tomorrow?

Had lunch at my sister's and as expected it was amazing. My Mum is not well but made it for lunch. I don't expect she will be at work for a few days though - she did not look at all well. We would have been happy to take lunch to her but she insisted on coming down - think she just likes getting out and about when she can. Dad looked really tired too so between them I suspect there will be some napping when they get home. I am going to do that same this afternoon also.

Caching up with my western kids for afternoon tea, so I have taken myself out for lunch with memories of Mum and how special she was to me.

Its a beautiful day here, and while the house is not yet up for sale, I am still in the area, near my dolphins and river. It’s a long goodbye of sorts, unexpected, but perhaps all part of trying to process the changes.

You day sounds lovely @Zoe7 . I hope your Mum is well again soon. I didn’t ask, but I hope you found something nice for your sister at the markets.

I know your Mum is always in your thoughts @Faith-and-Hope but days like this one can be both happy and sad. Keep those wonderful memories alive within your mind and heart - and know you got the best bits of her within yourself also. She would be so proud of you Hon - what you go through and how you deal with it all is a testament to the wonderful person you are ...and your Mum has so much to do with that

I am so pleased you are still near your river and the dolphins @Faith-and-Hope - just a little of your 'old' life still with you despite all the changes and upheaval in your life. You can still walk along the river and search for dolphins and enjoying that on a beautiful day is magic

I did find something small (actually 2 things) for my sister at the market but will have to go back next Saturday to get them. One is a decorative cheese cutter - she has one already but really liked this one - and it goes with the decor of her kitchen. The other is a beautiful blue perfume bottle. She can also put that in her bathroom where it will look good as well as being useful. Not sure what else I will get her but will have a look around on Wednesday after pdoc.

I have read a little about how your night unfolded and am so grateful that you had that wonderful friend to see you through your sadness last night. I can only imagine how devastating it is for you to be losing your home the way you are. I know how much I have feared lsoing my home when I have been so short of money but to have to move because of your circumstances is heartbreaking - so much history and comfort that you lose - a house is a home when you put so much into it and bring up your children there as well. There are no words that can help you right now but plenty of listening ears. You will get through this - because you have to but also because you are so strong - all those things I so admire in you Hon you will utilise to move forward. It totally sucks right now though and all my thoughts are with you. More hugs and the usual loads of love for you my amazing friend 💕🌹
