Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

@Former-MemberSorry you struggle to sleep as well. No I don't listen to talking books. I'm thinking of getting weighted blankets, I'm waiting to hear back from them.

Hi @Zoe7 💚🤗

Sorry you’re feeling unsettled and so wakeful tonight. I have a few things still to do so I will keep you company.

Do you have bedtime practices for when you feel this way @oceangirl ?

Re: Far and Away

Yes @oceangirl I read a post from you a day or two ago, about weighted blankets. Some people swear by them. Personally I cant stand heavy weight on me, it freaks me out. So I dont think they would work for me. But thats just me, and is related to my trauma. I have read a lot of peoples comments that they find them really comforting. I am interested to hear what you think of it, once you get one.

It sounds like your increased night meds are not having the expected or desired results you'd hoped @Zoe7

Hi there @Faith-and-Hope . Yes a hot choc sounds good.

I just saw the news that Prince Harry and Meghan have welcomed a baby boy into the world. Lovely news.

Re: Far and Away

I'm not a very goold sleeper for a while now but it has improved a bit since since I first got depression. I am waiting to hear back about the weighed blanket. I don't have a plan as such but I am working on it. I just keep track of my sleep via my fitbit.

I have to start with a sleep routine and stick with it. I will be around for a bit longer but can't stay on here for very long. I have specialist appointment in the morning, and I want to be focused for this. @Faith-and-Hope

Re: Far and Away

Do you think it might be the meds change @Zoe7 ? That has happened before. Can you keep a mood chart for a few days and see whether there is a pattern to what is happening ?

There was a story circulating a few days ago about a pink blanket in a car headed to their residence @Former-Member , and speculation that they had a girl ..... I can’t keep up. But it’s lovely that the baby is here and healthy. All the best to them.

Re: Far and Away

I know it is what is happening for me right now - mind still going and body is following to stay awake @Faith-and-Hope So much going on and having trouble slowing down but hoping extra meds help. I am safe so no need to worry about me but I really need to sleep at least a few hours to get through work.

Re: Far and Away

@Former-MemberThere are mixed responses about them. I don't really like heavy things on me either. That is my concern too. I have heard it is good for tramua and anxiety and insomina and other conditions too. I think its similar to wearing a vest when having xrays some people find it comforting. I might be better off with a thicker doona and blanket. I am in two minds about it. Thanks for the update about Prince Harry..

Re: Far and Away

I had photography class this morning @Zoe7 , and had to scramble to put together a submission, because our assignments have been altered in that subject, and there have been teacher changes too ..... but I did it ❣️

It made me laye for drawing studio, where it was more pen and ink ..... groan ... I made a mess with some of it, but got improved results with other bits. We were drawing a garden ..... guess who that reminded me of .... ?
