Much the same here. Though I'm very tired, my mind remains hyper active.

Do either of you listen to calm relaxing music, or talking books or something similar when going to bed?

I used to try listening to a CD @Zoe7 . I had one my psych gave me, rainforest sounds. Its really nice. And I would often drift off to sleep. But unfortunately I would wake up again as soon as it finished.

My psych has given me a few different CDs to listen to but none help @Former-Member We found one that I could listen to in other times but not when in bed. Sometimes I fall asleep with the tv on in the background - that sometimes helps but tonight I am wide awake and don't want to sleep ...old patterns returning
