I did a fair bit of travelling before, seeing all these photos, I want to do some more travelling now xx

We will be away till mid Feb. We have a family property available to us when we are here, so we set up home and get on with everyday life as if we were in Australia .... shopping, housekeeping, etc .... only Europe is on our doorstep, and there is so much to see and do in Greece, that we can jump onto transport, or bum a car from rellies, or hire one, and off we go .... WH regimen-driven .... but that's our reality for now .... as long as we compromise to accommodate hat he needs to be able to function, we manage pretty well I think. He is managing pretty well at the moment, I must say, with only occasional dummy-spits when he can't make things happen exactly as he wants them, but with a bit of juggling and salvaging, we smooth it over and get on with things as best we can.

Having numbed out the distress of seeing him caught in this illness, and ignoring the worst behaviours that he is managing to keep well hidden (and pretending they don't exist), we are just taking one day at a time and building whatever positive experiences we can.

Our work commitments are achieved via the Internet, so from that perspective, it really doesn't matter where we are, as long as we have tech access, and the cost of living is much lower here, so the expenses balance out pretty much.

Here are some photos from our trip back up north today .... it had snowed ahead of us, and for the last half-hour of the trip, it was snowing lightly as we drove.

Its pumpkin hour and I should be going to bed ....

Got hungry after an early dinner .... and can't go inside to the kitchen / lounge cos I might wake the sleeping WH dragon .... lol .... so I'm munching on some liqueur chocolates I got for Christmas ....that was what was on hand .... so ....

I have been making my way through some back posts tonight, and managed to salvage the jigsaw puzzle I was working on down south by packing it up in big pieces and packing the box with plastic bags to preserve them. The jigsaw puzzle was my little piece of Aussie Christmas and connection with my mum ....
