Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

haha @Shaz51 It is always the way - my neighbour is a groundsman at a school and his yard is so overgrown it is beginning to take over my yard as well. Need to get onto him about that in the holidays - he really needs to clean it up - th council has already warned and fined him for having the overgrown yard encroching onto the pavement.

Re: Far and Away

Thanks for the thoughts and hugs today @Shaz51 . Good to hear you are resting today and hopefully you have that foot of yours elevated. Enjoy the shows you taped overnight. I agree so much with @Zoe7 - its always the cleaners homes which dont get cleaned, the mechanics cars which dont get serviced, and obviously the groundsmens yards which dont get 'grounded'. Ummm ... hope that makes sense.

Have a good day everyone. @Adge @Faith-and-Hope @BryanaCamp

haha @Former-Member "the groundsmens yards that don't get grounded" I like that - wish my neighbour would do some 'grounding' - he needs to spray his whole yard really as the blackberries and other weeds have completely taken over.

Hope you have a little light in your day Hon - it is much needed

Re: Far and Away

@Faith-and-Hope I have had a productive afternoon - washing up done, kitchen clean, clothes put away and dog food out of the car and put in the cupboard. I also cleaned out my car - it also needs a vacuum and wash but that can wait until the holidays.

I realised when putting away my clothes that I need to have a very big clean out as I could barely fit some things on the shelves. The only problem with that is that some things used to fit me and now don't. I certainly hope to lose a little more weight from all that I put on last year with the meds but for now I have to settle for the handful of things I can wear comfortably.

I still haven't done the vacuuming but I have it on good authority that the vacuum cleaner likes it's home in the cupboard and really does not want to come out to play today - so I will let it rest there a bit longer lol

Cat has already started asking for her food but she will have to wait another hour - that is the down side of daylight savings finishing - she dosn't know the time and just thinks her mummy is being nasty not feeding her. If she continues talking then I may feed her a little earlier and gradually increase that time over the next couple of weeks. Toby just follows her lead and is laying on the florr waiting for his dinner as well.

How has your day been? What have you been up to? Hoping it has been a good day for you and the baby dragons have been behaving themselves -sending then all my love as well as to you

Re: Far and Away

Productive day visiting a gallery with Visual @Zoe7 . Now we need to do a write-up for our art business unit.

Your day sounds amazingly productive, even with the vacuum cleaner in hibernation .... lol

Re: Far and Away

Your day sounds much nicer than mine although I'd pass on the write up @Faith-and-Hope

I have finished all the work I needed to do before tomorrow so another thing ticked off my list - can now settle in for the night - more footy watching and then a little tv before heading to bed. I am feeling quite good this afternoon - may be partly because I have had a couple of naps throughout the day and partly because I have got some things done.

I think Toby has another ear infection - in his other ear this time but will keep an eye on it the next couple of days and see if it clears on its own. It is definitely not as bad as the other ear was so it might just be one that can clear on it's own - otherwise another trip to the vet

Yes vacuum cleaner is in hibernation but if I leave it much longer the rugs will be a nice shade of white and brown rather than green - a lot of furbaby hear accumulating on the floor - could nearly weave a new rug with it all lol

I presume another night of assignment write up and visual diary work for you Hon but hope you can get a little 'me' time for yourself also

Re: Far and Away

Oh bugger Hon - that is frustrating - you do need sleep yourself @Faith-and-Hope but I know you also feel some satisfaction in doing your work also so hoping you find that tonight when you can.
